Jessica Marie Hernandez

It is with profound sadness and gentle grace that we announce the passing of Jessica Marie Hernandez, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, and niece. Born on January 14, 1982, in Redlands, California, Jessica departed this world on July 1, 2026, leaving a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love, Jessica was the daughter of the late Suzanne (Perez) Hernandez and Steven Hernandez, and the granddaughter of the late Lydia Perez. Though her parents and grandmother have preceded her in rest, Jessica's spirit continues to thrive through her surviving family: her children Sarissa Gil (24), Madison Gil (17), and Jealynn Linares (11): her loving sisters, Jennifer Hernandez (Jessica's twin), Sandra Matus, Leticia Hernandez, and Stefanie Hernandez; her grandparents Ignacio Perez and Carmen Hernandez: and her uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews who will always hold her dear. Jessica also leaves behind a new grandson Daniel Alvarez.

Jessica graduated from Orangewood High School, Redlands California in 2000, and her keen intellect and drive led her to work at ABl Document Support Services alongside her sister Leticia, as a Legal Researcher. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jessica decided to dedicate her time and become a stay-at-home mom.

Jessica's youth was vibrant. She danced Ballet Folklorico with family, including her sisters, Leticia and Sandra, a testament to her cultural pride and grace. She was a big supporter of her uncle, Mario Perez, and took part in many fun activities alongside him, including walking in community parades and participating in fundraisers for various events. Her love for animals was evident in her joyful care of her beloved dogs. Each one was considered a part of the family. Above all, Jessica treasured the moments spent with her daughters. Jessica built her life around being a loving mother and her girls will forever be at a loss without her.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on August 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St.

John Bosco Catholic Church in East Highlands, California, followed by committal at Mt. View Cemetery in San Bernardino, California. Reception to follow at The Knights of Columbus Hall in San Bernardino, California. To honor Jessica, we want to encourage attendees to wear her favorite color of purple.
