

Joseph “Joe” Aldama, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 66. A longtime resident of San Bernardino, CA. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Stacy Aldama, and children; Michael Morales, Janine Marquez and son-in-law Juan Marquez, Adam Aldama and daughter-in-law Melissa Aldama, Matthew Aldama and daughter-in-law Daissy Diaz, Aaron Aldama and Adrian Aldama. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Michael Dakota, Isabelle, Hannah, Eugene, Jaylen, Aidan, Delilah, Vivienne and Jadalyn; sisters Esther Olivia Aldama (preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Gonzalez), Eloise Morales and Stella Aldama, sister-in-law Rikki Guiboa, brother-in-law Eddie Eytcheson, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Born on May 11, 1959, to Felipe “Philip” and Carmen Aldama, Joe grew up in San Bernardino, CA, leaving behind a legacy of family and community.
He volunteered many years coaching children’s basketball, baseball and flag football teams, leaving a lasting impact on the young lives he mentored. A lifelong sports fan, Joe especially loved watching the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams play. He had an appreciation for history and found comfort listening to music, cruising or watching westerns and classic television shows. Prayer was important to Joe’s life. Through his relationship with God, he found strength, peace and hope. Spending time with family was his favorite joy. Whether watching a game, sharing a meal or enjoying a favorite movie, he treasured every moment with those he loved most.
A memorial service will be held on January 19, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
A committal service will follow on the same day from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm at the same location.
