Joseph Ezequiel Perez

Joseph Ezequiel Perez was granted his angel wings on June 3rd 2016 .His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Jojo's life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him. Although he only spoke one word- "momma." his voice and thoughts could always be heard.

Even though Jojo appeared to be frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He enjoyed music, Muppet Babies, books and car rides. With Jojo's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his big brown eyes. He will forever remain in our hearts. It has been a privilege to be his parents.

Jojo leaves behind many wonderful nurses and doctors that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life.

Jojo is survived by his loving parents, Marc and Mia Perez; Siblings, Zoey, Marc, Annabelle, Elijah, Jonathan, Jessica, Eddie, Caleb and Arianna; paternal grandmother Lydia Belardo and maternal grandparents Tata and Nana Kevin and Lucy Davisson.
