Joyce was introduced to the Lord at an early age. Joyce's church home was Community Missionary Baptist Church of Redlands, California. She loved her 1st Lady, Dr. Mary Hubbard. Whenever she was down, Joyce would say that Dr. Hubbard "was her rock".
Joyce was a beautiful, strong and free-spirited woman who loved interacting with her family. She loved her football and basketball. She would watch them all day if they were on TV. Her favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs and her basketball team was the Los Angeles Lakers.
Joyce fought a good fight and was called home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2019.
Joyce will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts. Preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Lorraine Jackson; brothers Norman I., Earl L. Jackson, Myron Fair; and sisters Margaret A. Redman, and Phyllis Walker- Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters: Caroline L. Chapman (Louis), and Loretta J. Muldrew; one brother; Ralph F. Jackson (Gail); Three aunts: Lillie, Donna Faye, and Marva Graves; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends- all of whom loved her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lorraine Walker and Trina Young for "always being there" and for all they did in caring for our sister.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" - II Timothy 4:7
