Hi Reene. No I never saw the anniversary post. I never knew when ur mom passed. As I  said I  think of u often. I hope to see you or talk to u someday when u have time. Please give ur father my love. I'm so sorry for the loss of ur mom. I remember her as a loving, caring non judgmental  person. She and ur father were always kind to me. Jehovah bless you  always.

We are nearing one year that Grandma has been gone; and I realize a part of me is still pretending that she isn't gone. I think of grandma and she is very much alive. <3

I wish I had known about ur mom soon so I could have gone to her memorial. I feel so bad for your father. I no he loved her so very much and I'm sure he missed more than any of us can imagine. Dear Brother Licon, Irene, and Petey it has been a long time since I've seen or talk to any of u. I was so sorry to hear about Sister Linda. I remember when Irene & Petey would come & pick me up for book study at ur house, I never saw so much love between two people as I did with you Brother Licon & Sister Licon. I would wonder if I would be so lucky to have a marriage like that. She was so beautiful and kind. May Jehovah bless & comfort all of you. Brother Licon you will soon  be  with her and together   you will  be happier than you have ever been& will forever be together. Take care of yourself. My heart is still broken...I miss you so much Grandma!! 

Its still so hard to believe, I think it always will be. 
Grandma Linda really was the most precious woman ever. I think of her often, still can't help but get choked up & my eyes fill with tears & sadness wishing we could have her back. 
To have more family lunches with her, to see her face light up with geniune delight whenever any one of us would walk into the room, to hear her attempts to get through a joke without cracking herself up or giving away the punch line too soon, to see how much she would have loved to finally see the Dodgers doing well.  

So many things I miss terribly. 

I'm so blessed that I was able to be there with her on those dreadful last few days, so honored to know that I was there for her & there with her, holding her hand & comforting her as she was in her last hours. 
Priviledged that I was amongst the few people there that night and got to see her still somewhat alert & talking to us. Comforted by knowing that she wasn't alone & she really knew how much she was loved and adored by every single one of us. 
 
The empty feeling inside is a constant reminder that I was so fortunate to have had so many years of a great close relationship with her. 
I only wish I could go back to the days when Grandma & Grandpa lived upstairs & Robyn & I would do her hair or massage her feet & she would pay us with candy. 
Some of my best memories were just sitting with her & watching Judge Judy or helping her work on her jigsaw puzzles...so many things will be missed. 

Life will never be the same... :( 

I Love you forever Grandma!!

Uncle Pete my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Even though I didn't see her much, she was always so friendly and kind to everyone. I remember when I was a child she would always give me hugs. My mom, Ellie also sends her condolences.

I have such wonderful memories growing up with my aunts amd uncles   how fortunate for all of us to be part of a wonderful family I miss all of my family that have made their transistions  May the Pete Licon find peace in knowing there was never a bad thought about your mother only wonderful kind words and that's the truth   cousin susanna

I miss my Mom deeply, my heart has a void
that only the resurrection of my dear mom will filled it again! I look forward to that time in the New World that Jehovah has promised us. Seeing my Dad everyday at their house reminds me of how much he misses her. What a love story they had. Thanks Renee for putting it into words for us. I love you, see you soon mom.

No words can express how hard it is to lose someone so special and loving.  I will forever love and miss you mom...you were the best mom we could ask for and set such an amazing example of how we should live our life.

On June 20, 2013 we lost a very special, loving, thoughtful, gracious, generous, nurturing, beautiful inside and out person: our Mother, Linda.
The void for the Licon Clan is unbearable to say the least.  We're so thankful to have a Mother that loved each and everyone of us unconditionally. Her loyal love to our Dad and her kids extended to her dear  family and friends.  
We appreciate all of you who took the time to extend your hearts and hands to us.  May we all find comfort in our wonderful hope of seeing her soon and may all of you find the 'peace of God' and comfort that only He can provide.
