 Linda passed away peacefully on Sept. 28, 2013, after an extended illness. Born in Santa Monica, California, she resided to her teens in Pacific Palisades. She graduated with honors from University High School in February, 1961. Her early years were devoted to dancing. She first studied at  the Buddy Ebson studio of dance.  While attending University High School, Linda performed at sporting events with the school dance team, taught at Mrs. Henreid's cotillion, and participated in ballroom dance competitions with Robert Linkletter, son of Art Linkletter, among others. She appeared regularly at various local nightclubs and hotels, performing modern jazz interpretations along with partner Monica Henreid, daughter of actor Paul.  Following her grandmother's lead, she then went on to her other passion, working in the medical laboratory field.
In 1960 she met the love of her life, Michael O'Neal.  They married on July 31, 1961, and returned to Santa Monica, where they raised their family and resided for over 36 years. Linda & Michael moved to their dream home in the San Gabriel mountains near Lake Arrowhead. Linda devoted much time to her exquisite needlework and other beautifully made crafts, enjoying her collection of teddy bears and salt & pepper shakers. Her last breath was drawn in her own home with family at her side. She will be missed by so many besides family, for her beauty, talents and sunny disposition, even in the face of declining health. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Michael; three daughters; Sherilyn Hanna, Tamara Carter, Laurie Shriver/Perlitz and six grandchildren; Gregory, Jackson, Hannah, Tanner, Aidan and Erin.

I had the extreme pleasure of knowing both Mike and Linda for many years. She was a beautiful and special person and she will be missed.
