Linda worked as a service deli manager for Jensen's Minute Shop for 35 years before retirement. She was a devoted wife and a selfless and supportive mother. She lived life with a true and loving spirit. Linda worked hard and loved harder. With her family, no was never the answer- she gave without question. Her happiness came from knowing her family was happy. Her words were always inspiring, motivating and encouraging. Linda was a true example of what love looks like.
Linda is survived by her daughter Lisa Taylor; her son Jim Taylor; her daughter Helen Shields; her daughter Samantha Taylor; and her sister Eleanor Derrick.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband James D. Taylor; her father Eugenio Ciambella and her mother Edvige Ciambella; her brother Eugene Ciambella and her brother Donald Ciambella.
Linda also leaves behind to cherish her memory, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The loving light that shined from her core lives on inside every one of them.
The family would like to thank the staff of Newport Mesa Senior Living for helping care for Linda in her final years living with dementia.

Always Listening
She was strong, yet soft-spoken,
Graceful, delicate — never broken.
Not one for many words,
But always attuned to the unheard.
She laughed with joy, she cried with grace,
Would slip away without a trace.
Her thoughts would swirl, her voice held tight,
At times unsure what felt just right - But still, she was always listening.
She loved with fierce, unwavering heart,
Held her truths and stood apart.
Kind beyond what words convey,
Her quiet care lit up the day.
She'd feign sleep, eyes gently glistening -
We knew: she was always listening.
Though memory faded, her light remained,
A quiet flame, never drained.
She'd try to speak, the words would stall, Yet in her gaze, we felt it all.
In every glance, each soft positioning - We knew: she was always listening.
Now she rests, her soul set free,
Joined with stars in eternity.
Her spirit lives in hearts she blessed, In whispered love, in quietness.
And when we speak, through tears or reminiscing -
We know: she is always listening.
