My grandma Chela was truly one of a kind just as my grandpa Lichie was... I have so many  wonderful memories with her growing up as a kid! I practically lived at her house my child hood years and that is the way I will ALWAYS remember her and ALL my famliy! We use to pack into her little house every Sunday and all the holidays! I don't know how we ALL fit but we did and everyone was welcomed  and felt at home...We had CLOSNESS and LOVE and those are the memories of MY FAMILY I will Always hold in my heart!  I will miss her dearly but I know god called her home to rest and that is exactly where she wanted to be with her soulmate the love of her life my grandpa and they are reunited in Heaven dancing and smiling just like they use to... May you rest in peace Grams no more pain  I love you big "Marcy"!

I will hold the beautiful memories I have of Grandma in my heart forever. I learned so much through her strength and love for family and friends. It is a blessing for my kids to have been able to share the love of their Great-Grandma and it brings peace to my heart to hear them talk about their memories with her.   
Thank you Grandma for the love you gave us, for the strength you had to support us and most of all, for showing us the true love of a husband and wife.   We will miss you dearly.

My friendship with Chela was one of not many frequent visits but when we came together & would see each other it was one... Enjoying each other. Loved her feistiness, she would bring out the LOL in me. Love how she would make me feel special and knew me as "Auntie Chris"  Rest in Paradise Chela <3

Mrs.Rios is going to be missed. She welcomed me to the family 17 years ago and even though I did not have as much time with her, the memories I have will always be in my heart.  I remember how she loved to dance and how she would not let me stop dancing with her at Louie's wedding. Now your dancing back with your love in heaven.

My mother was loved by many. A woman of true bravery in my eyes. She fought to keep going even after the loss of my Pop but, was never quite the same after he was called home. He was the love of her life & she longed to be with him. I rejoice with her that she is now SAFE in the arms of Jesus and reunited with my Dad Lichie... Her broken heart is healed now and forever. THANK YOU to all of you, friends & family too many to name.. who remember her with love & know that she loved you also. "I'll see you soon Mama.. Rest in the presence of our Lord until we meet again.... Love you Always <3

Thank you all for the kind words regarding my mother Chela,she passed away peacefully on Saturday Nov 22,2014 at my residence in Redlands Ca. She did indeed live a very full and happy life however once she lost the love of her life my Dad Lichie she never quite recovered. So although I miss her tremendously I am comforted in the knowledge she is with her beloved Lichie. Hope you will all be able to attend her services. Thank You, Meca Smith

Well chela was a friend to my grandma she use to live on the very next street..she was such a sweet woman...all of a suden she had moved or something and my grandma wanted to find her but we couldn't we were planning to look for her so my grandma could converse with her best friend I guess we are tolate RIP

Just heard the sad news of my nina Chela's passing. I hadnt seen her in a few years but i will never forget her beautiful loving fun spirit along with my nino Lichi. They were such a beautiful couple and now they may rest in paradise together in gods kingdom.

Her passing weighs heavy on my heart, she was like a mom to me.....my comfort is knowing she's at peace with her other half at her side, her beloved Lichi ~ R.I.P.
