My name is Maria T. Trainer Author/Poet I live here in San Bernardino. Maria and I have something in common, we were born in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and that's why I want to dedicate this poem to her and give my most sincere condolences to her family.
from my book Breathtaking my poem titled
When death is on the air like smell of ashes
Flesh is nothing but just dust
And I must die and all must die
And wish that sleep prolong my dreams,
On God's eyes we're all the same
And in the dust we're equal made
What blessing thou free bounty gives
Behind thee comes the greater light
I lay my weary limbs to rest
And there I lay, till thou sweet face I see
It seems like one that lived,
Will live again!
He pours on me his tide of light
Happy till I wake-up again
And live on a star of eternal race.
