Marian Elizabeth "Betty" Scully joined the Lord February 18, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born in Otsego, Michigan on July 28, 1914. For Betty's health, the family moved to California when she was 3 years old. She graduated for San Bernardino High School in 1932 where she was 1st chair violinist. Also, she and her sister Maxine performed on KFXM radio.
In 1953 she met he "knight in shining armor", Sergeant William Joseph Scully, USAF and was married to him for 50 years. One of the highlights of her life was their three year tour of duty in Japan. Bill proceeded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by her three children from her first marriage to William O. Chilcorte: Daughter Jacquelyn Lura, wife of James and their five children and twelve grandchildren; son James Chilcote and his two children and one great granddaughter; daughter Janet Strickland, wife of John and their three children, five grandsons and two great grandchildren.
