Maritza Flores

Our Mother was born in Huetamo, Michoacan Mexico to Imelda Renteria Ramos and Roberto H. Galicia on August 1st, 1959. She went to Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. She married Gustavo Flores on October 22, 1993 at her parents’ home, the Ramos residence in Ontario, California. A homemaker who devoted her life to her grandchildren, children, and husband. Maritza loved gardening with her grandchildren, seeing a full fruit bowl always on display, driving around town for yard sale deals and looking at the latest plants Home Depot had to offer. Her laugh was an infectious one and rarely did not bring a smile to the ones who heard it. She loved her home as it was always her dream to be a homeowner and leave a legacy to her children. She would do anything for her family and raised her kids to have the same ideal. She was a Christian and had an immense faith that only grew stronger. Just as the Psalmist sung out, so did she and now she enjoys her place with her heavenly Father. Her love will echo in the hearts of the ones she loved, and she will be deeply missed by the one’s who loved her.

Maritza is preceded in death by her grandparents Flavio A.; Gregoria J.; Cipriano G.; Jovita H.; Fathers Roberto H.; Louis R. and sister Gloria.

Maritza is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gustavo Flores. A man who had no problem getting into fisticuffs protecting Maritza’s honor. Daughter Maritza J. and her husband Ruben J.; Son Nico M; son Louis M. and his wife Dianna. Son Gustavo F. Jr; son Tommy F.; Brandon F.; Daughter Bonnie G. and her husband Kenny G. Her brothers and sisters Roberto, Carlos, Jose, Estela, Raquel, and Brenda. Her Mother Imelda Ramos and her precious grandchildren, Natalia, Ruben Jr., Jacob, Aj, Louis, Jaxson, Ace and Adella.
