87, born 8-2-1925 died 8-2-2012 at home in Highland, California. Parents were James B. and Vera Whittemore. She lived in Highland for 80 years. Together with her husband, John R. Poppet, who predeceased her in 1981, she was an old Highland orange grower.
She is survived by daughters Roberta L. Patton (Allen), Mission Viejo and Ruth Ann Miller of Highland. Grandchildren Allen L. Patton, Jr., (Coleen) Keller, TX, Allison L. Cunningham (Brian) and Melinda L. Malcore of Highland. 7 Great Grandchildren Kyle, Kelly, Nathan, Landon, Ashlynn, Cameron and Paul.
Graveside services are at 2:00pm at Mt. View Cemetery on Saturday, August 11th.
