

Natalia Munoz Cuaron passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 12, 2025 in Escondido, California. She was born in Jerome, Arizona, on October 6, 1927, to Hermenejildo Muñoz and Juana Jimenez. Natalia graduated from Jerome High School in 1946. She met and married her husband, Robert Cuaron, in 1947 and was married for 65 years. They moved to California in 1951 and settled in San Bernardino. She devoted her life to raising her five children and continued caring for her grandchildren and helping other family and friends with childcare needs and was fondly known as "Nanny".
She was a devout Catholic and worked several years in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church office and was involved in many church activities. She was a religion teacher, belonged to the Altar Society, was a member of the choir, and spent many Wednesday evenings helping at Bingo. Her hobbies included reading, jigsaw puzzles, and crocheting. She was an excellent seamstress and made clothing for her children, herself, family and friends. Her ultimate passion was spending time in her yard. She was especially proud of her rose garden, had a green thumb, and could grow anything.
She is survived by her three daughters Dolores Hernandez from El Paso, Texas; Berta Cuaron from San Diego, California; Susan Mino and husband Tony from Harker Heights, Texas; and two sons Robert (Bobby) Cuaron and wife Laura from Beaumont, California; and David Cuaron and wife Terri from Yucaipa, California. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cuaron, her granddaughter, Brianna Cuaron, and her grandson, Robert (Jimmy) Cuaron.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 796 West 48th Street, San Bernardino, followed with burial at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary at 3520 E. Washington St, in Colton California.
