Nhung Thi “Nancy” Cannon, 79, was born in Hanoi, Vietnam on June 15, 1937. She passed away in the early morning of April 25, 2017, after a long struggle with cancer. She came to the United States in 1970, and eventually settled in Highland, CA in 1980.
Nancy worked for the San Bernardino City Unified School District as a language tutor for 20 years, and was adored by the many teachers, children, and parents she worked with during that time. She was a master in the kitchen, and cooking was a great passion. She loved to feed her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ngoc Pham and his wife, Duc Vu.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her only child, daughter, Kim Thi Hilder, son-in-law, David Hilder; her grandsons, Ryan and Eric Hilder; sister, Thuc Widgeon and her family; brothers, Phuc Pham, Duc Pham and Khanh Le, and their families; and brother Ngoc’s children.
