It's been a year already. Not a day goes by with not thinking about you. I miss you. Till we meet again.

Grandma,
You taught me how to play a million games and would play Hungry Hungry Hippo with me when the big cousins wanted to do something else. One night it was just you and I at the house, I was maybe 11, and you taught me how to play Black Jack — needless to say, it was my favorite night with you. 

You are the woman I am lucky to share a middle name with. You passed me down your spunk and I promise to keep it alive, along with your love for Elvis and “I Love Lucy”. 

I love you forever Grams. 

Grandma Smith. 
So many amazing memories. Grams was a second mom to me and my siblings since we lived with her when we went to my dads house. She cooked us dinner, she packed our lunches for school, she played board games with us, she had a way to make you feel comfortable to talk to her about anything and everything! I will always remember her making us brownies or cookies for dessert cuz she had the biggest sweet tooth! Grandma was so funny, she had the best humor,  I’ll always remember all the little phrases she had! As I got older and no longer lived there I could call her at anytime  and we would catch up right where we left off the last time. I could go on and on of the memories I have with gram. I will remember all the moments we shared and I will take so much of what she taught me and bring it into my own family. Love you grams. As she would say “Bye babe” 

Patricia Weldon Smith, Patty was a piece of work. For years each week I called her to harass her. Well, it is true, she was my older sister by 6yrs. When we we very little, about 5 to 6 yes old, Patty had the privilege of baby sitting two boys, my brother, Jerry, and me, twins. She should have felt privileged!!  Mom and Dad would head for the hills and told Patty, “watch the twins”. Well my sister would take Jerry and I on different excursions.  We visited Margie who had a horse Scooter. All we had to do was cross Washington Blvd, go through a farmers field then to Margie. Pat thought what would it be like if I am holding Jimmy and Jerry’s hands running across the  Blvd and I stop and The twins continue on. Well to say the least, “Blam” as we hit our heads together. So that is what happens!! When we ran through a farmers field, Pat would say “ run and do not stop, run hard. We said okay until we saw why she said run hard. For the first time I understood why you do not get near a bull!! Yup, that was in the field and you have never had such Expressions of fear As Jerry and I screamed as we crossed the field. We made it, praise the Lord!! 
She was one who would stop the Good Humor ice cream truck get two real ice cream cones. She would say Jimmy and Jerry do you want ice cream cones, then my precious sister would take the cones and push them together and say “here ya go”! You need to understand we recovered!! 
Trish (Patty) Jerry and I became very close other The years and she is truly my hero. I had the privilege of leading the to the Lord Jesus Christ about 15 yrs ago.  We will meet up with her in heaven in the presence, love and warmth  of God’s presence. We love her DEARLY!!!

Ms. Pat was my neighbor and it was a gift knowing her. I would occasionally take my daughters to visit her. Ms. Pat  always had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor.

My condolences go out to the family. She will be missed. 

I had the privilege of being Pat's Caregiver for a few years. One of my memories of her is whenever she would receive a bill in the mail she would say" First your money then your clothes". She was such a wonderful person. When i would leave she would say " See you kiddo". We would sit and watch Roseanne. There were times we would laugh and cry together.  If i needed to talk to her she was always there. 
I miss you so.  Till we see each other again.
