Mike was a funny, loving, big-hearted man whose greatest joy in life was his family. He had an infectious laugh, a playful spirit, and a way of making everyone around him feel loved and welcomed. Mike brought light into every room he entered, and his presence made ordinary moments feel special.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Mike lived his life surrounded by the people he loved most. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Negrete; his eight children: Andrea, Crystal, Roxanne, Michael, Rebecca, Darlene, Marina, and Elizabeth; his sister, Cookie; and his brothers, Bobby and Charlie. He was a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren, a loving great-grandfather to one great-grandson, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of two great-granddaughters.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Cruz Negrete.
Family meant everything to Mike. He was happiest when everyone was together—laughing, talking, and creating memories that will now be treasured forever. His love ran deep, his heart was big, and the bond he built with his family will never be broken.
Though he is no longer with us, Mike’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on through every story told, every memory shared, and every life he touched.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
