81, passed away on January 18, 2012 of natural causes at his home and was born December 1, 1930.. He was born in Monroe, Michigan and was a resident of San Bernardino for 60 years. He was a fire fighter for Norton Air Force Base for 20 years. He joined the USAF in 1947 did 2 tours in the Korean War, retired from Norton Air Force Base as a fire fighter with 20 years of service, he was a crew cheif, station captain of the fire department, and post commander of the American Legion Post 777.
Richard is prdeceased by his wife of 31 years, Dorothy Boylan. he is survived by his companion of 10 years, Verna Mowatt, son, Rocky (Jan) Boylan, daughter, Nancy (Nick) Gibson, son, Bret (Renita) Boylan, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
