Siblings- 2 sisters and 2 brothers
Rosa was born and raised in Erding Germany where she survived World War 11. She moved to the United States in her late teens and lived in San Bernardino, CA for over 60 years. She missed her hometown in Germany and talked often of returning to see her family there. They loved her very much and always enjoyed her visits. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones in Germany.
Rosa commonly referred to as Oma, loved Marion her husband, and her family so much. She loved to love and make those around her happy. She was the ROCK and the GLUE to her family. She grew up in wartime Germany and learned the values of hard work and persistence. She passed those values on to her family. Her heart and soul were incredibly strong, and she went through many hardships over her lifetime. She worked over 65 years being a loving, caring mom to her children, and worked over 30 years as a waitress/banquet server in the United States. Rosa’s love was undeniable for her husband Marion as well. They were married for over 58 years, and are now together again in heaven. Our hearts ache for her, and she will NEVER be forgotten.
She is survived by her 4 kids – Randy Blacklock, Mike Blacklock, Diana Holden, and Brenda Lathrop, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Arrangements under the direction of Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, San Bernardino, CA.
