I remember mrs Ruth back when I was 5 or 6, she and my dad(Edwin Sanchez Lucero) were good friends, she brought us presents for a few years for Christmas and I was always so happy to see her, she had a distinctive perfume that I still remember to this day. She gave my dad her big green van and we had it for a while. My dad always talked fondly of her,  may she Rest In Peace 

I remember Ruth, when we first met at the Senior Center in Rialto,  She and I hit it off right away. She would donate quilts to the Disabled American Veterans Org in San Bernardino of which at the time I was the Commander. I helped her with her computer. I shared my embroidery art work with her and she with me. I will truly miss her. She was a true friend in every way.  

My sincere sympathy to you all on the loss of this amazing woman. I always admired her sense of style, zest for life, and appreciation of her culture. On a few occasions my mother, also a teacher, got to interact with Ruth and greatly enjoyed their conversations. She will definitely be missed. Sending prayers for comfort to the family. 

Ruth DeSadier was my Grade School Teacher for two years.  (2nd and 3rd) She has been forever in my thoughts because of her, she gave me beautiful penmanship, creative writing and art and brought the BEST out of me. I will forever be Grateful for the Awesome Teacher that she was to me.  I graduated high school in 1974 and continue to think of her whenever I pick up a pen.
