Dr. A
No words can explain how greatful I am for everything you did for my son Matthew. Your kindness, discipline and love for music taught my son so much. He played all 4 years while he attended Los Osos and is now finishing up another 4 at Cal Baptist this year in the music dept. Your legacy goes on with everything you taught so many. It saddens my heart to hear you are gone. I pray for your mom and family members during this time.
Thank you
The Maltes Family

Hey Professor Andress (I know he's a Dr., but I always used professor). I was at a pretty low time in my life before I found your poster to join music, and joining under you was the moment where my life turned back around. Thank you for saying yes to my audition, for allowing me to be your helper, and for being a role model for me to step up my game. You'll always be remembered, and I hope you're hearing these words right now.

Rest in peace, Professor.

My memory of Dr. A is mine alone. Thanks to the band and color guard - it helped my family member move into a freshman so much easier and it gave her a better feeling about herself. He will be greatly missed.

We want to celebrate a life that meant so much to every life he touched. Not only did he do everything for the program he lived for, he also did so many great things for individuals who needed it. We will miss this light that separates us from the darkness. Rest in paradise Dr. A.

To Dr. Andress’ Mom,

Although I have never met you or your son we are all praying for you.

My son started playing in the community band before starting his freshman year at Rancho. Your son established this many years ago. It gave my son a great opportunity and eased him into the demands of playing in high school.

Your son’s amazing musical legacy will live on in our children and in the thousands of individuals who he knew and called him teacher/friend.

Praying for you.

Samuel Andress, your legacy will live on through my kids. You taught my son and daughter integrity, discipline, respect, how to work hard and most of you taught them how to love music and it’s because of your beautiful sole our daughter is pursing an education in music. You will be remembered for your greatness and unwavering love for your kids and nothing less.
On-word Sir our kid at Osos will go in your memory forever.
