Hello, and my deepest sympathies for Scott's family.  A friend of mine shared this page on Facebook and I decided to look at it.  Although I did not know Scott, looking at the slide show I could see a life well lived, full of family and good times.  We will keep you all in our prayers.

I am so very sorry to hear about Scott, we grew up together and got to be very good friends in high school we sort of drifted apart but I have thought of him many times over the last twenty years. I was very happy to read how  much he changed his life around and seem to be very happy. my condolences to his children and his wife I cant even imagine what your going thru but just remember that one day you will be with him again! My heart is so sad to hear about Scott. I met Scott last summer when my son Nick was on his Winterball team. He was so nice and taught my son the ropes of baseball. What a awesome father he was as I saw him on the baseball field with Jacob. My prayers go out for his family. He will truely be missed by many.

Hope Center is not going to be the same without Scott, but it wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for him. He is dearly missed.

I just recently met Scott when he worked as the Teaching Asst. in my Computer Graphics class at S.B. Valley College. He always had a pleasant attitude and was most willing to help all the students in the class. Even in the brief time I knew Scott, he made an impact on me. I could tell he was a good person and I am truly saddened by this loss. I send my condolences and blessings to his wife and children, and his entire family.

With heartfelt sorrow, my thoughts and prayers have been with you day by day. Words simply fall short of taking away the pain that we wish we could take from your hearts. I choose to remember our wiffle ball games in the backyard where we added aluminum siding to the top of the fence to make our own green monster. I hope they are playing some heavy metal and playing it loud!! 

STL has new meaning

I'm sorry to say we didn't have the pleasure of knowing Scott, but we have known Wilma since she was a teenager, and I'm sure he was a wonderful and caring person, as his mother is. Our love and prayers to the family. Pat and Roger Arnold, Portland, Oregon.

Scott was my best friend growing up, he was truly my brother from another mother, we did everything together. When I was in trouble he was right there with me in trouble too, we always had each others backs. Most all my memories of growing up have him in them. I miss you Scott, rest in peace I know you are in a better place, but its still not fair I know that may be selfish but I can’t help the way I feel... you were taken from us way too soon. With love always your brother and best friend.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are the summers we spent causing mischief in the old neighborhood. I can’t imagine how ordinary my life would have been without Scott dreaming up some crazy plan for the day. Most of the time we were grounded because of something our parents found out about, but I could write a book on the stuff we got away with. To me these are colorful memories I will never forget. I believe God likely cracked a sly smile, when he heard Scott was coming. Give’em Heaven Bro!

Dearest Ones, no words can begin to express my sorrow in learing about the loss of a family member.  I can remember when Uncle Jerry, Aunt Wilma, Scott, Michelle and Debbie used to come to our house in Jenny Lind.  I love hearing about how Scott used to think that there were Indians at our house because of the road we lived on: Indian Creek Drive.  I remember taking him for rides on horseback on my horse Patsy.  The giggles when she would trot and bounce him in the saddle.  The wonderful Family get togethers over at Grandpa and Grandma Kunkels home in the Delta.  The hours us kids used to spend playing Hide and Go Seek in the Peach groves.  My heart was so happy to hear that Scott had accepted Christ as his Saviour.  Peace be with you my dear Brother in Christ and my dear Cousin.  I pray God will give your Family here on earth peace and comfort in their time of loss.  Don't punish yourself for the time lost, revel in the time you shared with him for those are prescious memories that you will remember forever and keep Scott near to you. Aunt Wilma, we are so so sorry to hear about Scott.  The kids and you are always on our minds up here and the photos of Scott at high school age reminds me of how long ago it was when we were all together.  Although we exchange cards at Christmas I cant believe time has flown so quickly.  Our prayers go out and our hearts send love and support to the entire family down there.

I am so very sorry about this untimely, sad and tragic passing. 
The "rules" of life are that all of us will "get to" face the eventual realty of death. Wilma..you have faced this reality way too many times. And, losing a child is way beyond being not right. The "rules" say WE go first...our children later. 
I did not know Scott, but I know how much he will be missed and IS loved. God bless you Wilma, Scott and family.
