

Teresa was the ninth child born to Jesse and Francisca Serrano in Los Angeles, CA on July 17, 1941. She had four children and worked as a Service Writer for M.K. Smith Chevrolet for over 30 years. She enjoyed her music, remembering Elvis and Johnny Cash to the end. Even in her last days of Alzheimer’s, she knew the words to all the old songs, English and Spanish.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Manuel Hernandez, Frank Hernandez and Lucio Serrano.
She is survived by her 4 children Diana R. White and husband Charles of Beaumont, CA; Robert A. Raya and wife Adeline of Riverside, CA; Dolores D. Ross of Vista, CA; Marie A. Marquez of Hope, AR; her 16 grandchildren Robert Brown, Melissa Barbour, Daniel Raya, Jacqueline Raya, Eric Bachman, Desiree Maquinalez, Andrea Maquinalez; Robert Raya, Jr., Anthony Raya; Sarah Ross, Anne Ross, Laura Ross, Tabitha Wirges, Timothy Pote, Amelia Haley, Naomi Pote and her 20 great-grandchildren Robert, Sariah, Jade, Scarlett, Emrik, Jaymie, Adrian, Ava, Raymond, Anthony, Aubree, Gabriel, Thaddeus, Tristen, Ethan, Hannah, Paison, Amalia, Katelyn, and Sawyer.
She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Gomez, Ramona Mejia, Rafaela Martinez, Jessie Nunez, Consuelo Ortiz, Maria McCracken, and Evangeline Bramel.
