

She is survived by her five children: Daniel Ontiveros, Vincent Ontiveros, Gloria O’Hare, Corina Martinez, and Eduardo Martinez. Her grandchildren: Alexis Alvino, Daniel Ontiveros Jr., Nevaeh Ontiveros, Tehya Ontiveros, Vincent Ontiveros Jr., Andrew O’Hare, Elias Ontiveros, Tristan Martinez, Domonic Ontiveros Ethan Ontiveros, Paige O’Hare, Daylah Ontiveros, Karina Navarro, Anthony Duran, and Xavior Martinez. Her siblings: Theodore Ontiveros Jr., Angel Ontiveros, Anna-Haro-Ontiveros, Karen Ontiveros. Preceded in Death: Julian Ontiveros.
Teresa was born in Loma Linda, California on April 25, 1960 to Theodore and Andrea Ontiveros. She grew up and lived most of her life in Redlands, California. Teresa graduated from Orangewood High School and went on to work in many different job positions throughout her life. When her mom fell ill with lung cancer, Teresa and her sisters all took care of their mother until her last day on this earth, it is because of this that she found her calling, she was a caregiver through and through.
Teresa became a CNA (certified nursing assistant) and worked in this profession for over 15 years. She did home health and caregiving for a few years after that, and then maintenance and housekeeping. Teresa was a hard worker and excelled at every job she had, receiving employees of the month awards and recognition for her hard work.
Teresa was a loving mother, a dedicated Grammie, a supportive sister, a devoted daughter, and a good friend/cousin/Tia to all. She loved her family. Family was everything to her. She had a strong Christian foundation and unwavering faith. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is in heaven, greeted by those who went before her.
To honor her memory, a memorial service for Teresa will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
