June 14, 1930 – May 16, 2020
Virginia (Montana) Robles, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family at her home of 50 years on May 16, 2020. Virginia was born June 14, 1930 in San Bernardino, California to Seferino and Angelina (Carpio) Montana.
Virginia was a very giving person, she had a special place in her heart for all children. She wanted the best for her family and her friends, forever giving and not asking for anything in return. She has touched the lives of everyone she met with her generosity and kindness. She was a foster mom for over 30 years to many children which she blessed with her safe loving home (The generosity of her heart allowed her to love unconditionally). She was inducted into the Native American Hall of Fame for the work she did in spreading knowledge of Native American culture. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, attending Pow Wows, and going to the casinos. She enjoyed attending the baseball and football games of her children and grandchildren. She made the best lunches for away games. She enjoyed her life that God blessed her with. Virginia will be remembered as a wonderful, loving, caring, devoted, and generous wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Forever in our hearts and prayers until we are reunited.

My memories of Virginia was, baseball her son and my son played ball for Cajon. My son said to me one day mom, Tony’s mom brings the best snacks he is so lucky. All the team loved it because she always brought enough for all of them ! She was always there so proud of her son . And as time went by didn’t see much of her . But I witnessed the most thoughtful son I know . Dominique, he would take her to all her doctors appointments made sure she had all her personal needs etc. and at the same time remembered my mom. “All before he went to work” The love he gave his mom was so beautiful! Virginia You were truly loved ! You will always be remembered for your love you had for your family. My condolences to all of you ! God Bless ! Peace 🙏🏼🌹🌹
