Yolanda Gonzales fondly known by family as "Purple" of Fontana, passed away May 18, 2010. She was born October 20, 1943, to Nievas and Phillip Garcia in San Bernardino, CA. She was a graduate of San Bernardino High School Class of 1961. She married her high school sweetheart, Alex F Gonzales, March 20,1967. Yolanda was a master homemaker providing love, comfort and support for her immediate family, extended family and friends her entire life. Her greatest joys were the frequent visits from her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alex; four children, Stephanie (Ken), Geneva (Darryl), Alex, and Michael (Ampora); and her much loved eleven grandchildren, and great grandson. Yolanda is also survived by one sister, Gloria Gonzalez, and two brothers, Phillip and Carlos Garcia and extended family member Deanna. Viewing will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 1st at Mt. View Mortuary. Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 2nd at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
