Abol Ghassem Parviz was the eighth child of a family of 10. He immediately set out to make his own path and he worked hard academically to get admitted to University. He had an illustrious career in the Imperial Iranian Air Force culminating as a one star general. He started a new life in America in 1979 building a new service line at Lincoln Mercury and working his way up the corporate ladder. He had multiple additional successful businesses until he retired in 2003. Abol was a loving father and grandfather. He was a loving and supportive brother and an uncle to so many in the family. His biggest joy was his family, closely followed by poetry and poker. Abol was respected and loved by all who knew him. He is survived by the mother of his children, Talie Parhizgar, his son Ali Parviz and his daughter Maryam Parviz, his son in law Manoochehre Gahvarehchee, his grandchildren Arian, Alex, Emily, and Keyon, as well as his beloved sister Mattar.
