Alicia Suarez Patterson, age 99, passed away peacefully in her home on October 20, 2026 in Green Valley, Arizona. She was born on March 14, 1927 in Manila, Philippines to Jesus and Vicenta (Santos) Suarez. Alicia had a younger sister, Rita Dean, and was married to Harold “Jimmy” James Patterson on March 12, 1970 in Manila. She worked as a sales associate at the Clark Air Base Exchange from the age of twenty-four before soon becoming a supervisor. Renowned for her beauty, she often participated in pageants, modeled, danced, and was once the Exchange Hostess. Alicia’s demeanor was known to be elegant, gentle, and sweet amongst her family and friends, and her kindness touched everyone deeply. She loved taking pictures, traveling, fashion, and always took the time to put on her “face” with makeup. She is survived by her daughter, Malou Patterson Teopaco, and granddaughter, Christine Joy Teopaco, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Alicia touched are invited to her Visitation at EL CAMINO MEMORIAL PARK, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, California 92121, from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Alicia’s Funeral Service will start at 10:30 am with her Committal Service at 12pm on November 4, 2026 at EL CAMINO MEMORIAL PARK, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, California 92121.
