On Sunday, June 27, 2021, Anita Wagner, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 99. Anita was born on October 14, 1921 in California. This California girl moved to Michigan to marry her sweetheart, Sidney Wagner on April 24, 1941 and they raised three wonderful children, Joni, Sally and Gary. Anita and Sidney recently celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary.
Anita was a beautiful person - inside and out. She was a culinary extraordinaire and a skilled gardener. She loved her roses and like each beautiful rose, she defined that special sense of style and grace. Most of all, she loved her family, and her family will always love her.
She will now join other loved ones including her daughter, Sally. Anita is survived by her husband, Sidney, her children, Joni Pick and Gary Wagner and her grandchildren Lisa Pick, Kathy Gerber, Jill McLaughlin and Craig Aaron and 8 great-grandchildren who love her deeply.
