I met Arik summer of 1980 surfing L.J. Shores. Arik was a class A surfer& one of the best comedians I've ever met. Many cool adventures & attending Steel Wheels /Rolling Stones tour in 1989 was a highlight.
Great memories spending time at Diana's house 2 blocks from L.J. Shores .
You will be missed . My heartfelt condolences to Diana,Danica,Eddie & all family members.

I think quite, possibly the hardest part about losing any friend is that once the finality of them being gone hits you it also hits you how much you loved and cared about that person and how you had wished more often you had been a little more kind a little more patient a little bit more aware of what this person meant to you. I will never forget Eric. He became a big part of my life, he slipped into it softly and quietly and did so many things that I was not even aware of what a beautiful friendship had developed rest in peace, and may God ease your family’s pain. The world is less sparkly without you in it. I will miss you

My dear friend, you are already so missed! I look across the street and expect you to be there! May Our Amazing Lord and Savior welcome you into His heavenly kingdom! Amen 🙏☦️🕯️

Arik was my neighbor at the last marburger show and I enjoyed getting to know him a lot better because of that. He was funny , knowledgeable, articulate and always willing to help. He wanted the best for the people he knew and frequently texted or called to share a show or opportunity he thought would be good for Lauren and I.

My deep condolences to his mom and brother and all the other people who loved Arik . He was a special soul and will be truly missed on this earth.
Sincerely,
Susan and Lauren Wheeler

My beloved son Arik Lerner- forever missed forever loved and never, ever forgotten. There are so many wonderful stories I have about Arik. He was a cactus sometimes- prickly on the outside but a softy on the inside for those of us who really knew him. Above all he loved being Aiden’s Dad-even more than fishing, surfing and antiques! Always smiling and helpful to everyone. He believed in God and know he is in heaven with his Dad. We will always celebrate his life ❤️
