I met Arnold teaching classes at the Illumina Fitness Center. Anytime he would join class he was always ready and up for the current workout! 

Talking with him was always so easy. He was sincere and genuine. The memory that I will always remember was when he stayed after class one day and asked me about my future plans. (5-10 years down the road). I had shared with him and he listened. Then, he began to speak into those plans, the career I mentioned, and listed several reasons why that was fitting for me. He listed very specific traits and skills, as to why I would be good at this. I was surprised and touched. We’d only briefly chat before and after class, but this showed me that he valued those small moments and really took the time to learn about and encourage each person he met. 

I am so very sorry for your loss. Arnold was an amazing man. Kind, genuine and caring. It’s unfortunate that he is no longer with us, but the impact he made on those around him will continue to live on. 

Arnold always went out of his way to say hello - I am going to miss running into him at the gym or over lunch. By chance, he found out that my husband and I were having fertility challenges and he shared invaluable insight (and hope). He ended up serving as a life coach in some ways and I'll always be grateful for and remember his kindness. 

I knew Arnold from Illumina Fitness Workout classes.  We both attended the same workout classes and I had the privilege of Arnold being my biggest motivator and cheerleader.  I loved the energy that he had and he was a great friend.  He always spoke about his family and he had asked me how I liked living in Santee.  I told him that I loved it because it is a huge "family" environment and there are great sporting options.  Every time he would see me, he would ask "How is Santee?"  Arnold was an "all around" great guy and a wonderful friend.   My condolences to his family.  Arnold will truly be missed!  

Dear Arnold,
I will always remember you as a kind and caring co-worker and friend. I can't believe I won't see your cheerful smile at the gym anymore. For sure, you will always be in our heart.
 

To Arnold's Family,

We are so sorry for your great loss.  We were blessed to have known Arnold when he was in college and for many years after.  He was generous in all ways and his good qualities were endless.  Just a few that come to mind are funny, sensitive, smart, determined, friendly, kind, humble, and very courageous.  Our hearts go out to his family and everyone who loved him.  We will always remember his gentle ways and bright face.  I know his big heart and generous spirit will live on in his beautiful children.

Whenever we saw Arnold, he always gave us this vibe of tranquility.  Knowing about his battle with cancer this past year gave us another insight into him.  Arnold truly was a brave person who stayed strong for himself and his beloved family.  He remained positive and kept his sense of humor through it all.  What an inspiration he was......     

Our deepest condolences to Arnold's family and continued love and support to Connie, Sophia, and Joshua.
