“Those we love never truly leave us—they live on in the love they gave and the memories we shared.”
It is with deep sorrow and love that I share the passing of my beloved husband, August Custodio, who left us on May 23, 2025. Though my heart is heavy beyond words, I want to honor and celebrate the incredible man he was. A man who brought endless joy, laughter, and love into my life and the lives of so many others.
To me, he was more than my husband, he was my best friend, my partner, and my greatest blessing. August, or as many affectionately knew him, “Ogie,” was a joyful, vibrant soul who found happiness in the simplest things, especially singing and dancing. His voice filled our home with warmth, and his dance moves always made me smile. Whether it was a family party or just an ordinary day, he never missed a chance to bring joy and celebration to life.
He dedicated over 30 years of his life to Presidio Components, where he proudly served as a supervisor. He led with quiet strength, patience, and integrity. He was respected not only for his hard work, but for the kindness and mentorship he extended to everyone he worked with. He made a difference, day in and day out not just in his job, but in the lives he touched.
At home, he was the heart of our family. His love was steady, generous, and unconditional. I will miss his warm embrace, his laughter, his wisdom, and the sound of him singing around the house. Life will never be the same without him, but I am so grateful for every moment we shared, every memory we created, and every day we spent side by side.
Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit lives on in the music he loved the stories he told, the love he gave, and the lives he so deeply impacted. I will carry him with me always in my heart, in our home, and in everything I do.
Rest peacefully, my love. You were one of a kind, and you will miss more than words can ever express.
Forever yours,
Emma Custodio
