I have been told that you haven't lived if you don't leave a mark.  Well i have to say that is something my Grandpa did, he left his mark in many ways.  My Grandpa was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa.  It is true when they say he could fix anything or make anything.  He spread kindness and love to everyone he encountered.  When i think of him i see a vision of him playing in his garden or working in his garage with his hat and button down shirt.  Im sadden that he is not here on this earth but then i am happy to know, and i know, that he is with the Lord watching over us.  I am honored to have such an awesome Grandpa.  I love you so much and will keep you in my heart always....

The memories of my father in law were of kindness,strength, and always a true patriot with the love of God and Country. He truly loved all his family and a devoted husband to his Slyvia. Bernhard was always there to assist in anyway he could, from fixing cars, construction, and gardening. He  is special in my heart for the love he gave my children Jason and Rachael a wonderful Grandpa.

Bernie will be greatly missed, but we will see him again one day with all the saints in Glory.

Bernie was a wonderful man, and loved by ALL. He will truly be missed.

"For I know my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God; Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." -Job 19:25-27

Because of Bernies life and testimony, the Lord shew mercy unto thousands of his family that love him and keep his commandments. God bless you all.

We mourn with Sylvia and the family over the loss of our beloved brother, Bernie, and take comfort with them in knowing that "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." (Psalm 116:15).

We will miss dad. He was always good, kind, helpful, and giving. He could fix anything. He would help anyone. And always had a good story to tell about he old days. I guess we will all miss those old days when wish we could sit and listen to the stories about the horse-drawn combine, or dad's snow sled powered by an airplane engine. Only he could think of that one.
