I knew Bette at ASU. In our sorority,   She was a wonderful friend,💕🙏Joan Nicholson

Bette had a heart of gold and was so full of life until she became ill.  She taught me how to make a pie crust one Thanksgiving (it was not easy for her since I hate to cook)and shared many of her wonderful recipes with me.  Her home was beautifully adorned  with lovely plants that she tended to diligently.  She loved her menagerie of cats that she spoiled and cared for with tender loving care.
Bette loved the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club and we enjoyed many beach barbecues with Bette and Ken over the years .  Bette was a enthusiastic member of Las Patronas and was my sponsor for the group.  She and Ken worked many a Jewel Ball handling the donation table after she retired to Las Patronas advisory status.  Rest in peace with no more pain and loss.
Ron and I are saddened by her loss and I will miss reaching her for an occasional quick telephone catch up call after we moved from California .  We love you Ken and are thinking about you every day.  You were a devoted husband.   Dede and Ron
