Beverley Wong, 91, passed away on June 1, 2026. Born on April 24,1935 in China, she immigrated to Canada and later made her home in the United States. Throughout her life, Beverley was known for her exceptional cooking, her remarkable green thumb, and the quiet generosity with which she shared both. Her home was always filled with the warmth of good food, thriving plants, and the steady love she offered to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Hubert; her children, David, Julie, and Harold; her daughter in law, Uyen; and her grandson, Matthew. Beverley’s kindness, strength, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121, US, on July 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Chinese Community Church, 4998 Via Valarta, San Diego, CA 92124, US, on July 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
