Billie was born in Carlsbad, California June 6th, 1935 to Pleasant and Ethel Ogden, and attended elementary school in Carlsbad. Billie moved to Blythe California and attended Palo Verde High School and married Burl Clayburn Birdsong. Together, they moved to San Diego where Billie worked for Convair, a division of General Dynamics for 33 years and worked as an executive assistant. In her retirement years, Billie loved to travel and visited Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, and China as well as a variety of vineyards in the U.S.
Billie was preceded in death by her Husband, Burl, and her Son, Ron. Billie was also preceded in death by her parents as well as her 13 siblings.
Billie is survived by her Sons, James Birdsong, Robert Birdsong and her Daughter, Debra Mesa, 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
