Blair Jay Parker

Blair Jay Parker, also known as Jade, passed away suddenly at home on September 2, 2026 in San Diego, CA. He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many and he will be deeply missed.

Blair was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 29,2000. He spent the majority of his life in San Diego, CA. He loved video games and his online world. He was an avid reader and loved animals of all kinds. His smile and happy disposition brought so much joy to everyone who knew him. Blair never met a person who couldn’t become a friend. He was loyal and had a huge heart.

Blair is survived by his mother, Monica Avila, and his father, Craig Parker; his grandparents, Jose and Maria Avila, and Barbara Anne and David Smythe; half-brother Basitan Lee Parker-Wellborn; his aunts and uncles Cristina and Michael Bassitt and Linda and Josh Herschmiller and Daniel Avila; and many cousins.

There will be a public viewing on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Beardsley-Mitchell Mortuary at 1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd. in Ocean Beach from 4pm to 8pm. All who knew Blair are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories.
