Bukuroshe Dervishi

Bukuroshe is survived by her son Gezim, her daughter Deshira, 5 grandkids Flodia, Endri, Andy, Klea and Kevin. She is predeceased by her husband Sabaudin and her son Vladimir Dervishi.

Bukuroshe was born on May 24, 1933 by her loving parents Rexhep and Zenepe Braka. She met and married the love of her life Sabaudin Dervishi. Together they welcomed three children - son’s Gezim and Vladimir and, daughter Deshira.

Bukuroshe had an infectious spirit like no other. She devoted her entire life to her family, making sure everyone was always loved and supported. Her presence filled a room with light, and there wasn’t a person that met her who didn’t grow to love her. She was a strong woman who would do anything for those she protected. Her smile instantly made you feel at home. She enjoyed sitting over coffee, shopping, Greek food and anything social. She could sit with someone who didn’t speak her native language for hours, communicating merely with love. She will be severely missed by her close family and friends.

We will have a viewing on Monday, 9 May 2022 from 10am-12pm. Followed by a funeral service & burial from 12pm-1:30pm, at El Camino Memorial, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego CA 92121.

Per Bukuroshes’ request, the family organized a catered luncheon after the burial at 2:30 pm at Sufi Mediterranean Restaurant located at 5915 Balboa Ave San Diego CA 92111.
