

Candido Badillo Macasadia, Jr. - known to most as Jun - was called home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 10th, 2022. He was born in the Philippines on June 1st, 1945 to parents Candido Macasadia, Sr. and Eugenia Macasadia. He was the fourth of 11 children. In October of 1965 he joined the U.S. Navy where he served for 20 years and later worked another 20 years in the Civil Service.
On February 25th, 1968, he married his college sweetheart Yoly. In May of 1971, Yoly and their daughter Mary Ann moved from the Philippines to join Jun in the United States, living in Oxnard, California, Bremerton, Washington, and then later settling in San Diego, California.
Jun is survived by his wife Yoly and his four children: Mary Ann (Husband James), Alain (Wife Jocelyn), Jaymar (Wife Rachel), Sarah (Husband Romell), as well as 11 grandchildren: Matthew (Wife Veronica), Andrew, Mikey, Ashley, Jonathan, Timothy, Ryan, Jace, Alana, Macayla and Jayden.
A visitation for Candido will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Maranatha Chapel, 10752 Coastwood Road, San Diego, CA 92127. A graveside at the madonna lawn will occur Friday, March 11, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. A military honors at madonna lawn will occur Friday, March 11, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121.
