Carlos Reine Haskins died peacefully on July 28, 2016, of a life well lived. Part of the “Greatest Generation” he was courageous and willing to make sacrifices for his family and country. A descendent of coal miners from West Virginia and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Carl signed up early with the Marines during World War II, eager to do his part, afraid the war might be over before he was eligible. He had great peace in God and loved his family. He is survived by his children, grand children and great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest September 1, 2016 at Miramar National Cemetery.
