Our prayers for Aunt "Carmie", who was not only my Aunt, but also my Godmother.  It is sad that my children will not have the opportunity to know her, though we will always love her.

May you rest in peace Aunt Carmie.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Aunt Carmella's family. We will miss her dearly. We enjoyed keeping in touch with her through phone calls and cards, and hearing about her mandolin performances and church activities. We will always remember visiting Aunt Carmella and Uncle Sam in San Diego years ago and how welcoming they were. The gave us quite a grand tour of the city and Tijuana. Such good memories. 
We last spoke with her on her birthday, when she told us a friend had taken her to breakfast and she had a nice time.

Carmella, 
She taught us  patience, fortitude and humility. She fought long and hard
but in the end she knew that God was waiting for her with open arms.
The one thing she knew for sure  was  we loved her dearly.
We were blessed to witness her love for her faith,her dedication
