She is survived by her grandchildren Ponchito, Ivette, Carlitos, Danny, Caro, Christy, Camilo, and Xoaquin, as well as her great-grandchildren Ezra, Gadiel, Emma, Elicia, Niko, Gianna, Jaylah and Jazleen. She was the widow of Thomas H. James, and even in her final days, she remained self-sufficient, as she always had been.
Catalina will be remembered for her strength, independence, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind through her family.
