I worked with Chuck for over 30 years with the Union and AT&T/Pac Bell. He was a friend and insperation to me. He was always there and the first to ask what can I do to help. He will be missed.

Chuck was a sure-fire inspiration for many of us.  He shall live on in our activism for social justice causes too.  Miriam Kanter Plotkin, Secretary-Treasurer of the Fed of Retired Union Members, (FORUM) AFL-CIO, San Diego.

I first met Chuck when we attended the 101ESS class at Midway Plant schools, 10 guys in the class as I recall. That group did the first ESS installation in San Diego.  Chuck worked at Lindbergh Field installing the remote units, I was the wire chief at the C street Central office in charge of the control unit.

Good days for sure.  Now that old system is obsolete but fun while it lasted.

Chuck was a faithful member of the group at our Tuesday morning breakfast meeting out at Brothers.  He will be missed.
