Clay Sterling Williams

Clay Sterling Williams, 63, of San Diego, CA., passed away unexpectedly on October 21st 2020. Clay was born in Lancaster, CA. on March 13th 1957. Clay graduated from Antelope Valley High School and received a high school diploma. He was married to Soontaree Lek Williams, married on October 8th 1986. Growing up he worked for his father, Robert, who owned a nursery and began to learn the ins and outs of becoming a nurserymen. When Clay turned 18 he decided to enlist in the United States Navy as a Seabee equipment operator Some of his fondest memories are from his time in the Navy and the people he served with. During his enlistment, he married the love of his life Soontaree, fathered two children, Joshua R. Williams (32) & Andrew C. Williams (28). He retired honorably after serving 21 years achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Some of his favorite hobbies included: Marlin fishing, bodybuilding, martial arts, bike riding, cooking his famous "killer beans", spending time with his two boys and the family dog "Ace". Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife of 34 years, Soontaree Lek Williams, his two children Joshua Robert Williams and Andrew Colton Williams. Funeral arrangements will be held at Miramar National Cemetery with military honors following a celebration of life at the family's home.
