Daniel Lester Street III

Daniel “Danny” Street, Jr. was known as a loving husband, devoted father, caring son, supportive brother and loyal friend. Born on July 12, 1976, in Chula Vista, CA, Danny passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 49.

Danny’s life revolved around his wife, Yolanda, and their children: Victoria (10), Jacob (12), Daniel (19), and Kenya (25). He had a unique way of making everyone he encountered feel appreciated, welcomed, and valued, often with a perfectly timed sarcastic remark.

Known for his strong work ethic, Danny always went above and beyond for others, giving selflessly without seeking anything in return. His generosity and love for his family and friends set him apart, and his sharp wit ensured there was never a dull moment—he could always make people laugh. Growing up, Danny worked with his family at West Auto Wreckers, learning from his father and nurturing an early passion for cars and off-road racing. This interest blossomed into a lifelong pursuit, connecting him with many friends who became like family. He shared his enthusiasm with his children, who also find joy in racing.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Yolanda; his daughter, Victoria; his stepdaughter, Kenya Elias; his sons, Daniel and Jacob; his mother, Kathleen Street; his sisters, Jennifer (and her husband, Adam) and Jessica (and her husband, Joe); and his nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great happiness.

Danny's Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Swiss Park & Hall, 2001 Main Street, Chula Vista, CA 91911. Service will start promptly at 12:00pm.
