Danilo, fondly known as Danny, was born to Mariano and Estefania Alcala on October 4, 1943 in Candelaria, Quezon, Philippines. He is a retired United States Postal Service (USPS) Clerk, who was a reliably hard worker who loved what he did. He loved it so much that he would take on extra hours to benefit the family. But even though he worked long evening hours, he always made time for his family. Morning and afternoon walks to and from school with his children remain a wonderful memory to this day with Arleen and Alvin. Even his grandson Adriel was able to have those school walks with his Grandpa.
Danny was not only a great family man but a romantic and faithful husband to his wife, Elenita. He would always be the first to lead her to the dance floor, or playfully swoon her with endearing words and warm hugs and kisses. He always wanted her to be happy and feel loved.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Elenita, and two adult children, Arleen and Alvin. He has three wonderful grandsons whom are Adriel, Rayden, and Greyson. And his furry grandson, Gizmo of Arleen and Eric Naguit. Danny is also survived by his brother, Samuel Alcala.
Danny was unique. Truly one of a kind. He lived life to the fullest, never half empty. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children, Alvin and Arleen. And despite his physical handicaps, he remained active. Danny always looked for an excuse to go out of the house. Not to mention, his smile was contagious and everyone felt his connection with them.
