Derrick Lashon Williams

Derrick was born on December 14, 1969 to Margaret Bardwell and Reverend Marcus Williams in Los Angeles California.

Derrick was raised by his mother Margaret and grew up with his siblings- two sisters (Olivia and Ann) and three brothers( Mike, Rickey and Marlin). His two nieces were also raised with him (Taneka and Laquesha). Derrick attended and finished school in Compton. He had an associate degree in psychology.

As an adult, Derrick fell in love with traveling and became a truck driver. He traveled across the country and became passionate about training students to be truck drivers. He was a truck driver instructor at Dynasty Trucking School.

On his leisure time, Derrick loves to play video games, watch movies and listens to music.

Derrick was a loving husband, a father and a grandfather. He married the love of his life, Rolleen. They were married for almost 13 years. From his previous marriage, he was a father of 4 daughters- Iketha, Teresa, Shante and Tiffany. And the girls blessed him with seven grandchildren- Jamar, Shanece, Cameron, Briana, Naueya, Taj and Emory.

2 In my Father’s house there are many mansions; if it was not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Derrick was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Reverend Marcus, sisters Olivia Sanders and Patricia Ann Logwood and brother Johnny Michael Logwood.

Derrick leaves to cherish his loving memory: His loving wife, Rolleen; brothers Ricky and Marlin; daughters Iketha, Teresa, Shante and Tiffany; grandchildren, cousins, family and friends.
