It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Diana Brav who peacefully passed away February 9, 2025 at the age of 82. She was the daughter of Capt. William S. Baker, USN and Geraldine Baker. She is survived by her husband Mel Brav, daughters Aimee Hebert and Rachel Brav, granddaughter Lila Silva, brother-in-law Ron Brav, her twin brother Dennis and his wife Ellen Baker, and sister-in-law Alice Baker. Most important to Diana was family and being a wife, mother, sister and friend. She charmed people wherever and whenever she met them and accepted them as lifelong friends. She was an incredible cook, baker and dessert maker. She loved animals, enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with family and friends. May her memory be a blessing.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 on February 19, 2005, at Cypress View Mausoleum, 3953 Imperial Ave., San Diego, CA 92113.
A celebration of life will be held afterwards from 1:00 to 3:00 at Temple Emanu-El (social hall), 6299 Capri Drive, San Diego, CA 92120.
