Dorothea devoted her entire life to God, dedicating her time in service of others. In her lifetime, she has helped over 500 Portuguese immigrants become United States citizens. Dorothea worked over 40 years as a court interpreter and taught English to the Portuguese community.
She leaves behind John David, whom she raised as a son and many friends and family who will always remember her compassion towards others.
We are thankful to have been blessed by her presence and know she will be received in God's holy grace with her mother Rosa, whom she adored and took care of her whole life through.
May her giving heart and loving soul continue to bless us from above.
Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 27th at St. Agnes Catholic Church. A visitation at 9:00 AM, followed by a rosary at 9:30 AM, and the mass will follow.
Donations towards the Alzheimer's association and Silverado Hospice Care are greatly appreciated.
