Dung Mac known by many as “Ah Po” which means “Grandma” in Chinese, peacefully passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 94. She was blessed with a long, healthy life without illness, and left the world gently due to age. She was born in China and spent her formative years in Vietnam.
Her story began with her beloved husband, Luan Vi, whom she married at first sight through a thoughtful arrangement by her brother-in-law. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with six children. Their love and dedication laid the foundation for the compassionate and nurturing family we are today.
Ah Po was not only the cornerstone of our family but also the greatest mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother we could ever ask for. Her warm, gentle smile could light up any room and bring comfort to all who knew her. She was the most generous soul, with a heart full of kindness. Her love, compassion, and unwavering care touched everyone around her. Ah Po had a vibrant and joyful spirit. She loved being out, especially in lively places filled with people, laughter, and delicious food, particularly sweet treats, which brought her so much happiness. Her sweet smiles, filled with pure love, will forever remain in our hearts. Her presence will be missed beyond words, but her legacy and memory will live on in each of us.
Rest peacefully, our beloved Ah Po. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
