After graduating from Lake Stevens High School in 2004, Dylan enlisted in the United States Navy, stationed first in Bremerton, WA, followed by San Diego, CA. His extraordinarily tight-knit group of loving, supportive friends was his local family, and he anchored himself in San Diego to remain close to them. He was an enthusiastic gamer, animal lover, talented illustrator, gifted writer, and had a knack for making anybody he met laugh. He was an unparalleled storyteller.
Dylan is survived by his mother, Kim Witte; father, JB Robinson; and sister, Rhiannon Robinson. He will also be remembered by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, two small nephews, and the countless friends that he made around the world. We suspect that his cat misses him too, though the cat has always been grouchy so nobody can tell the difference.
There will be no public memorial service held, per Dylan’s wishes. His remains will be scattered in the Puget Sound. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of San Diego, the Fisher House Foundation, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
